Evernote Review

Evernote is one of most widely used note taking software. It's developed and maintained by Evernote company headquartered in Redwood city in California. It's founded in 2007.
Evernote has more than 200 millions users from all the world.

In Evernote you can store whatever you want and organize it in a way you want. No limitations at all. 

I use Evernote in many occasions, as a note taking software, personal information manager and even as a file manager. It's powerful tagging system allows you to organize every type of information. This way you are not limited on it's built-in search console. 
Evernote allows you to work simultaneously with more databases if you want. In my own experience you don' need to create more databases for different types of notes. The tagging system can handle all of this. 
Evernote database size is note limited, only by your hardware. My main database is around 60 GB with more than 30k notes. I haven't experienced any slowdowns  or crushes. It's very optimized and works perfectly even with slow computers. My laptop configuration is the following: i3 processor with 4 GB RAM and 750 GB hard drive. Very average configuration.

KikeSoft Facebook Poster is a free facebook posting software developed by "KikeSoft Custom Software Development" programming enthusiasts.

This is not as the other facebook posting services that are automatic. It is a manual posting software but this is not disadvantage. I see this as advantage because my account stay safe with it. I can even post to 100s without worrying. Other good thing is you can manage more groups lists for each campaign. This way you will drive targeted traffic to your urls. 
I tested this software with my best selling product "InstaBlade Credit Card Knife". I posted my blog link to 30 groups and got even 2 sales. It's not bad if you compare with the time I spent posting, only 5 minutes. I am testing the software now with more products and the results will be revealed in a future review.
Only think I recommended to developers is adding an option to open groups in tabs what will increase the speed of posting. Even the developers explained to me that this will close to the speed of automating and will put your account in danger I still want this option.

Overall this software is good and useful. I recommend it to all.

Using Anki to Study Programming Languages

In one of my previous posts "Anki Review" I wrote about one of the best SRS software for studying different subjects. As I mentione Anki is free, unlimited in view of data size, very fast and very good interface. It's algorithm is based on Supermemo 2 algorithm.
It depends of the subject I have to learn I am using both Anki and Supermemo. Both of them are great tools for the passionate learners such I am.

Recently I started to use it for studying programming languages. I study Visual Basic 2015 and Python languages. I even started blogs about Visual Basic 2015 and Python programming languages. The codes I study I am posting into these blogs.

One of the feature Anki has is making tying notes. That means you can write the answer instead of simple answering it loudly. That helps you to earn source codes with easy. The Anki algorithm will schedule the cards efficiently what will help you to earn more in a less time.

Usually I try to learn from 20-50 cards per day. These cards are actually source codes similarly as on the image above.
For example: Open Text File in ListBox, Open Text File in ListView, Connect Microsoft Access database with DataGrid, Connect Microsoft Access database with ListView. Connect Listview with SQL server etc.

XMind Review

 

Have you ever tried a mind mapping software? If yes, then you probably now XMind or even you are working on it.
I learned about XMind researching on Google. It's comes in 2 types, commercial and free version. I tried the trial version of XMind and it's very powerful. However, I am using only free version for now. Maybe this is because even the free version has all the functionality I need.

With XMind you can brainstorm everything. You can level every idea up to the sky. You can plan every process for achieving your goals. XMind supports office documents and PDF what makes it very useful tool.

How I am using XMind?

I started to use XMind 2 years ago. At the beginning I used it only as a planner and ideas brainstorming tool. Now, I am using it in correlation with Personal Knowbase as a Personal Information Manager. I store different kind of information in Personal Knowbase and relate them with XMind. XMind is also my main todo list tool. I became greater achiever than ever I was.
Also, XMind can be used as a decision making tool and problem solving tool. It supports templates that are freely available and can be used in this manner.

Free version of XMind is open source what makes it even better. That means thousands of developers are working on improving it's capabilities.

Anki is one of the best and most powerful flash cards software. It's created to help you study anything, from languages up to geography, history etc.
I am using Anki everyday as a learning but also as a reading tool. Anki website http://ankisrs.net has everything you need to learn how to start learning with Anki.

Personal Knowbase Review

Personal Knowbase is a free form organizer that can handle virtually unlimited number of notes. It has clean interface that is easy to work with.
Before I started to use Personal Knowbase I used many organizers such as EssentialPim Free, AllMyNotes Organizer, C-Organizer Pro etc. They are all excellent organizers but they have many disadvantages over Personal Knowbase.

Why I love so much using Personal Knowbase?

 First reason why I love so much this piece of software is because of using keywords to organize the notes. Tree-like data structures are highly unpractical and inefficient for work. I proved this to myself long time ago. I used the above mentioned organizers and my notes number drastically increased to more than 50000. Tree components always freezes and was difficult to find any information within my database. So I decided to research more deeply. I tried all of them. I even worked with the most popular software such as Evernote or One Note. They are powerful but not practical for me.
